Things have been moving at break neck speed lately and I am taking a quick moment to myself so I may catch my breath.
On the work front, I am excited to report I sold a house in my new community last week, listed said buyers house and have an interested party looking at taking down four lots for build jobs. Also, I have been working with a relocating buyer, showing him all over the city for that just perfect bungalow in Boise. AND…I have this FSBO who is asking for my help…hmmmmmmm. I am optimistic…no, expectful…that things are going to be okay.
Zoe goes back home tonight. I wish I had one more week with her! Wah! Between me working and her being on myspace.com, we’ve hardly spent quality time together!
Griffin started football earlier this week, and he has been chosen as the starting running back! Since school started on Tuesday, he’s been a perfect angel. Last year was a very tough year for him and he had frequent outbursts in class. So far, so good! Keeping my toes crossed!
And Hannah is in orchestra, gonna’ play the violin. She is such a smart cookie, she’ll be first chair in no time!
Post Script: (Sept. 3)
Today a storm ripped through our town and half the city was without power. I could have kept Zoe here, had I been smart about it. I could have played it off that the car was stuck in the garage, since I didn’t know how to open the auto garage door, which requires power. She would have missed her flight and I would have my daughter for another night, at least! But, I did pull the emergency release and we got the car out and she arrived in plenty of time to catch her flight.
Summer Break 2007 is officially over for all the kiddos.
